Dad picked this sweater (by Khiara Albaran)
First post for spring =) I really love the fact that snow is nowhere in sight. Given the warm temperature, I chose to wear this sweater before it gets hotter because this is the first piece of clothing that my Dad picked for me when he came back from Boston. I so love the print! haha didn’t know that my dad has some kind of an eye for stuff like this. Love it love it love it!

Pilgrim in Montreal (by Khiara Albaran)
Went to Montreal with my mom and my sister. We stayed there for two days. For me, the city’s architectural design is a mixture of New York and York, England. Will definitely go back … well, during spring or summer because it was so freaking cold! hahaha

Winter storm in Toronto. February 7-8, 2013.
Here’s a poem that I wrote to describe my day.
“One Winter Storm”
My dad told me to go out and play,
So I went outside to enjoy the day.
But then I thought our game was lame,
‘coz it involves shoveling our driveway.
For hours we shovelled a ruler high of snow,
but when I looked up it doesn’t show.
Now that my body is really sore,
I want to go to my room and start to snore.

Snow piled up right outside our door. With all fairness, my sister already brushed this off an hour before I took the photo.

Smile though your body is freezing. haha nah … I bundled up, enough to keep my body warm plus, i’m doing a very physical activity. This is my kind of workout.

The level of snow in the sidewalk; it’s almost knee-high if you stand within the “unshovelled or unplowed” area.

Our street is full of snow. It has not been shoveled or plowed by the city yet.

Our neighbor’s unmoved car. So here’s a bit of an accurate measurement of the snow’s level.

Ruler-high of snow. ugh! too much to shovel eh?

My dad and I, clearing up our driveway.
